Looking Ahead: The Accelerated Pivot to a Digital-First World
Join Forrester, ForwardPMX and The Harris Poll on Thursday, September 10th.
2020 will be a year that causes many long-lasting changes, as our lives continue to be shaped by the challenges of the global pandemic.
The consumer mindset is changing – from what people value, to how they choose to spend their time, to the needs and expectations they have of brands and businesses. The increased adoption of digital behaviors and the shift to digital media is a trend that has accelerated dramatically this year, and we only expect this to continue given the lingering uncertainties in our physical world. It is no longer a question of whether businesses must adapt to this digital-first environment.
Now, brands must define the path forward to operate in this space, and further define how they fit into consumers’ lives, navigating an increasing desire for trust and transparency, for meaningful actions to advance social causes, and for seamless, digital brand and commerce experiences.
What does the accelerated pivot to digital look like, as we near the end of this unprecedented year and look beyond into 2021? Join Forrester Analyst, Collin Colburn, Global CEO of ForwardPMX, James Townsend, and CEO of The Harris Poll, John Gerzema for an upcoming panel discussion, with a brief look back at this year’s major themes, and a view forward as businesses prepare for the holiday season and the upcoming year.
